A meme with a difference - aka Dazzle me, Part III

April 24, 2008 at 2:23 pm (Meme's, Why can't I write like this?)

Ok, here’s a meme with a difference.

What you have to do:

Using the departure point below, write a short story of no less than 500, and no more than 5000 words.

Give your story a title, and when done, post it on your blog and notify me. Tagging others is optional :)

The best story, as determined by a celebrity judge [me!] will win a R500 Kalahari.net book voucher.  That’s ront, ZA, not dollar, US, by the way :)

Departure point:

In Europe and the UK the clocks go back at the start of winter and forward at the start of Spring. What happens to or in the missing hour?

You need to link it to your choice of the following images, i.e your storyline has to connect with the departure point above and any one of the pictures below:

To get the ball rolling I tag Ten Miles, KAB, Sheena, MsBehavn, Dolce, Sonkind, Cheap Thrills and Peas. I considered tagging Kyk, but I fear that would narrow the field down to one …. ;)

Closing date for entries is midnight on 25 May 2008.

Are you ma wom person enough for the challenge? ;)

Peas, KAB and Sonkind: You may have some stiff competition. I’m waiting for a certain little birdie to surface, the winner of Dazzle Me, the original. Let’s see if he gets his groove back …
