73% of visitors to this blog detest Danielle Steele, followed in quick succession by Dan Brown [18%] and James Patterson [9%].

    Is that from your quiz?

    I’m not sure what you mean by “deal breaker”, but I quite like Stephen King, though he’s patchy. I’ve enjoyed some of his books (”The girl who loved someone or other”, Pet Sematary”, “Beedful things”), found others OK (”It”), and found some so boring I never finished them (”Misery”).

    Dan Brown writes crap. I don’t think I’ve read any of the others.
